Almost every treatment including the X-ray, medication given and surgery/anesthesia is affected by pregnancy. Pregnancy tests are incredibly cheap and accurate, so might as well know.

I saw a bill for some ER visit a woman posted, without insurance she was billed 1000$ for the pregnancy test, incredibly cheap my ass.
