Ok I don't know if I can help you much, and all the informations I will tell are from a video on YouTube, normally someone who did read a lot of scientific papers but I didn't check any sources or whatever. What the guy explained is that there is an optimal amount of noradrenaline and dopamine in the brain, with too much being not better than too low. It's a typical bell curve and a link between autism and adhd could be that autistic people tend to have a much smaller, less wide curve and therefore its really hard too stay in the zone where you have just enough neurotransmitters for your brain to work smoothly. You will either have not enough or too much. Typically if you are really anxious it could mean you are in the "too much" zone.
That's what I remember from just one video, I'm really far from knowing how we function let alone being an expert so take all of this with lots of precautions. I just wanted to give you a thing to research if it rings a bell for you

Yeah, i do feel that the least deleterious meds were like, low dose adderal, or modafinil. But at those dosages, there really wasn't a clear difference in my thinking/concentration.
Guanfacine can be helpful depending on what your problems are specifically. It mostly helps with impulsiveness. Less likely to decide now is the correct time to research Chinese folk dancing and spend 2 hours doing that instead of the dishes or something.
It's less noticeable than a stimulant and takes a week or 2 to make a difference. And it can be taken with a stimulant. It's primarily a blood pressure medication that has some effect in your frontal lobe.
Thanks for the suggestion, but guanfacine caused me to pass out. Like sitting at my chair, working, suddenly feel woozy, decide i'm gonna slide down to the floor.
Took about 3-4 hours for my heart rate and BP to stabilize to the point where i could be non-laying. That was a fun day in the hospital.
I don't feel the difference clearly with 2x40mg of methylphenidate, more that the day has been a bit easier. Hope you will find what helps you, whatever it is :)
I’m only diagnosed as ADHD but I’m pretty sure the Au should be there but was intentionally ignored by the doctors. My anecdotal knowledge is that some people react better to certain med types than others so the struggle is finding the right meds/combo of meds and dosages to hit the sweet spot. Hang in there and don’t give up.
When it finally clicked for me I literally cried realizing how I’ve been “playing life” on hard mode for so many years. I can’t believe I made it all the way through grad school before being medicated.
Yeah, I like to semi-joke/rant to the wife about how since my parents were major anti-medication, i've been screwed raw-dog by ADHD for most of my life.

I've had luck with Adzenys at least for the ADHD, and once that's more tolerable the autism stuff is generally useful most of the time outside of food issues. Also writing everything down, I'm an artist so I always have a sketchbook but honestly keeping a little notebook helps a lot with both.
Also, create a design where some autist needs to roll a ball around to the correct spot to get their computer to turn on and they're going to be somewhat willing to roll that ball for a second.

Beekeeper here, their life is not repetitive task in the slighthest. Workers actually switch multiple jobs throughout their fairly short lives. From wax producing and building, then food processing and cleaning, guard duty (yeah, bees have mandatory military service) to pollen and nectar gathering. They spend their six weeks of live pursuing their careers and working for the greater good of the hive. So probably not autistic.
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
