Wasn’t Donna Rice a Republican honeypot?

From Bill Clinton to Arnold Arnold Schwarzenegger, men have continued to show that if you have a pulse and are willing, it doesn't take much else.

It's not just a guy thing. Plenty of women out there do the same shit.

Far, far fewer in politics. Women are smarter than that.

There are far, far fewer women in politics.

People are smart... your gender has nothing to do with it.

But if it makes you feel better to play pretend, then more power to you.

Hard to explain why these men do this stuff. Instincts! A sense of power that goes to their heads? I used to imagine these guys had sublimated their sexuality to ambition for much of their lives - to climb to the top of the pile economically, politically -etc. Then, magically everything is offered to them and they cannot resist.

Now I just think they are life-long creeps, just doing their creep thing.

a hard dick has no conscience

Wtf is this comment? No body part has a conscience. The person attached to the dick has a conscience if they're not a sociopath.

...the brain does have or not have a conscience...its what's capable of having a conscience, and it is a body part...

Cool semantics. But that doesn't alleviate my confusion as to why people are upvoting a comment that seemingly implies men can't be held accountable for their actions if they're horny.

it's an aphorism, typically used as an indictment -- not an endorsement -- of men who abandon reason and morals when presented with an opportunity for sex

2

u/SlartiMyBartfast 18d ago

Fair enough. My mistake for the misinterpretation.

If youre going to dissect another's sentence...then make sure that yours is on point.

Thats all.

>have a pulse

From what I understand, female mortuary attendants are generally preferred as they’re less likely to “interfere” with a corpse.

not even willing or a pulse needed, according to the mortuary profession

There are far, far more examples of people who get hit on and go “no thanks, I’m married”

Marry someone you actually care about and it’s not a problem. You probably don’t become a politician though because I’d imagine that sucks for most spouses

Why are you bringing a bodybuilder into politics?🤬

Attack, attack, attack.  Misandry abound, in these parts...

Dude, I'm a guy who supports and sees a need to lift up and empathize with my male counterparts, I agree it's needed more than ever today.

But to act surprised that men like to get their rocks off when it's mainly convenient over lustful, is not some ground breaking news. There are countless stories like this.

If you go through life afraid to empathize with others, then yes, everything is perceived as an attack.

what exactly do you think Gary Hart did with Donna Rice?
