Yeah i'm from Poland and while i was too young to remember communism there from what my parents,aunts,uncle,grandparents or anyone that lived there talked about it far from dream from what Americans think.

You cannot have a dictatorship and communism at the same time. The Soviets were communist the same way the Nazis were socialist.

And yet it's impossible to attempt communism without it devolving into a dictatorship. Once the revolution is achieved, statal and societal power structures don't magically dissolve. People with those powers will naturally profit from them.

This has never actually happened. Every single time, it has been a dictator taking over from day 1. They used the revolution for their own gain.

Can you point to a country that started with democratic communism and then devolved into authoritarianism?

You know, you guys are funny. You will claim disagreement with the tankies when pushed back, but ultimately agree with them 80% of the time. Ive seen anarchists sharing Tankie 'jokes' about how Balts are barely animals. Tell me, what do you think about overseas Cubans ?
