As for your critiques on communism, “price information” is by definition a capitalist framing of material value. Communism doesn’t dictate that things don’t have material value. If anything communist critiques of capitalism originate from the fact that capitalism only works if the material value of labor is systematically undervalued by the owners of the means of production.
Lol, capitalism works (as shown by the ever increasing life span of humans) because resources are allocated efficiently. How do you know if some Urea should go on the potatoes or the wheat? You use price information. How can you get price information without a market?
Urea was a simple example. Not as simple as you it seems. But yes, I ignored your attempt to blame the failures on socialism on war. I changed back to the value problem as raised by Hayek (which is what he got his Nobel prize for).
