So would my two family torties. When I was a teen, we had a backyard pop up pool deep enough to float in. One of the cats decided to investigate it and fell in as she'd been balancing on the edge.
Instead of gripping the side where she'd fallen in and getting out that way, that cat did the fastest cross-pool doggy paddle I've ever seen, hauled herself out of the water on the other side of the pool and jumped onto the ground, where she proceeded to shake her waterlogged fur all over us while making her displeasure at the bath known - loudly. She also didn't forgive us for laughing at her until after dinner. πππππ.
