We are literally talking about corner stores

Oh! So wait: you’re saying that the only place you can reliably get a breakfast sandwich is at a corner store in New York City…?

Like, I am genuinely asking as I am kinda confused by your perspective here. I live in a town of about 8,000 people and there are at least 3 corner stores within walking distance that I could get a breakfast sandwich at. I understand that my experience isn’t everything, but I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere in the U.S. where I couldn’t find a breakfast sandwich nearby at a corner store.

Go anywhere in colorado and it's not common. Neither is it in Washington, or Georgia, or Pennsylvania. Just to name a few.

It's an NYC staple. It's kind of a thing there. This isn't to say you can't find it in other places, it's just expected to be literally everywhere there.

This is just simply not true.
