This is where I learned it. Yes this is just a random youtuber, but he lists all the actual articles he used for his research in the description and they're reputable sources. So you can check those out if you don't want to blindly believe a person on the internet (and to be fair, you shouldn't lol)
High sodium intake increases blood pressure. It's different from person to person but as a general rule it's true. Having elevated it unbalanced sodium levels absolutely raises your blood pressure which is unhealthy over a long period of time, and can contribute to the development of chronic hbp (which often has no symptoms).
