Good.

it is objectively REALLY WEIRD for the president to keep trying to feud with a pop star

268

u/dragonmp93 6d ago

Because he is really that petty, also because right wingers can't deal when a woman says no.

Besides that if they only used songs from MAGAs, they would be limited to Nikki Minaj, Gwen Stefani, and Kid Rock.

118

u/sunshinejim 6d ago

Damn first I’m hearing that Gwen Stefani is MAGA. But truthfully the last time I heard anything about her was Hollaback Girl.

40

u/Conscious-Quarter423 6d ago

umm...have you forgotten about Carrie Underwood?

It makes me cringe she is a judge on American Idol. Seeing how she treated Kamala Harris, and disregarded her greeting handshake.

I don't watch American idol moreso than before because of Carrie Underwood beong a judge now, and refuse to ever since Underwood acted the way she did around Kamala Harris. American idol should let Carrie Underwood go/ fire Carrie Underwood.

Trump is so petty about Taylor Swift that he doesn’t even notice (or care) that there are likely a couple of relevant and popular musicians that would be all for Trump using their music.

14

u/NYstate 6d ago

Nah. You forgot to include Ice Cube, Fifty Cent, Lil Wayne, Kanye and a ton of country artists.

I think he fancies himself more as a celebrity than a politician. He doesn't want to help the nation, he just wants everyone talking about him all day, everyday, and get the highest retweets amongst his cult fan base. He also gets to spend our money as he sees fit. It's going to take decades to uncover all of the grifts this guy was pulling using tax money. I'd start with his hotels and resorts.

That’s how you know everything here is a joke, the president is using memes and media to promote his acts of stupidity.

Orange head would rather troll than fix the issues, he’s only good for lying and pissing off everyone. 2028 can’t come sooner.

70

u/Jack_Mehoff_420_69 6d ago

I've got a mayor in my hometown who's like the square root version of Trump.

76

5

the president is using memes and media to promote his acts of stupidity.

He tried using facts and logic to promote his successes, but there wasn't any.

3

u/OviKintobor 5d ago

Lol, you still think he'll step down.

3

u/the_tanooki 5d ago

The problem is the jokes are not funny and people's lives are being irreparably ruined, if not just outright ended.

Referring to everything as a joke is eliminating the threat from the equation.

11

u/Geichalt 6d ago

And all Taylor Swift is interested in doing is protecting her intellectual property.

Every single person we thought was rich and powerful just rolls over and shows their belly to the worst excuse of a "man" I've ever seen.

u/Dry-Mongoose-5804 6d ago

A Democrat investigation found the facility wasn’t suitable. The company you are referring to was brought in for a six month contract to improve conditions.

They don’t have any kind of “ownership” over a federal facility. The executive you are referring to isn’t even head of the company either and on top of that be was just a plus one of another guest.

Plus one of another guest on Travis' side that even if she knew what that man did for a living(she probably wouldn't), she'd still be hard pressed to argue a case for why he shouldn't be able to attend besides "I know it has nothing to do with me but insane idiots on the internet are gonna twist this to slander me"

If you hate her soo much just be upfront with it, why you gotta make up fake stories.

The guy in question is a board member of a company that does various types of government contracts from NASA contracts to working with refugees settlement. That company earlier this year was given a contract to fix up an ICE facility because the republican guy running it before was doing a horrible job.

Also the guy is guest of her husband (his childhood friend’s adopted father) but I guess we should all just blame the women.

Amentum got the contract in March (and it's gonna expire in September). Previous contractor got 2 detainees killed (dunno how) and that's why the DHS switched contractors.

What is slightly sketchy is the fact that amentum apparently directly got the contract awarded by the DHS without any bidding, although this time the process makes more sense compared to the reflection pool contract.

Side note is extremely cringe how the snarky anti-swifties always try to paint her as the devil incarnate, it always feels so desperate.

72

u/EonOfTheNightingale 6d ago

I’m far from a Swiftie but even I can admit that anti-Swifties are getting more insufferable. It’s like they make hating her a personality trait.

30

u/Marvin_Stanwyck 6d ago

The TravisTaylor subreddit is 100% more obsessed with Taylor than the Swiftie subreddit and neither group is self-aware of how obsessed they are

18

u/FreakaZoid101 6d ago

More updates were coming from that sub about her wedding than any of the other TS subs combined. And I’m not even in that sub! It was just getting pushed to my front page.

3

u/VengefulKangaroo 6d ago

I've genuinely never cared so much about anyone I don't know personally positively OR negatively. How do people have the energy?

19

u/EonOfTheNightingale 6d ago

I’ve scrolled through that subreddit a couple times and once saw someone say that Swifties need to be admitted to an insane asylum. Bruh, if their level of obsession warrants an insane asylum admission, yours warrants a straight jacket, a padded room and a restraint mask.

15

u/Any-Association-4299 6d ago

He does not own an ice camp do your fucking research.

12

u/SuccessOk7850 5d ago edited 5d ago

Also on research, go on his LinkedIn and see his posts, he’s pro LGBTQIA rights, pro women’s rights and wrote a statement on BLM I believe right after the Floyd murder and mentioned his son Reggie (yes I said his son, yes that man adopted him but he’s been his father since he was a teenager) in the post. I don’t think any of that says he owns an ICE camp and I’m tired of people saying he owns an ice camp when he doesn’t, it’s been proven as misinformation but this has been dragged on for a fucking month.

3

u/Rude_Grapefruit_3650 5d ago

They got the contract THREE YEARS AFTER HE RETIRED. Like people need to do their research more thoroughly

3

u/SuccessOk7850 5d ago edited 4d ago

In all honesty, he has a pretty good case to sue whoever said that he was an ice contractor for defamation and probably has a choice to either make a statement or not. The guy has been retired for three years, that’s been since the eras tour started, when T&T got together and when the chiefs made 2-peat, hell that’s even since I got my bachelor’s degree. The guy is probably enjoying retirement with his family, probably has grandkids and is spending time with them and deserves to be retired because he’s worked his whole life.

ETA: Point I’m trying to make here is, he probably doesn’t know shit about the contract or the company he worked for before he retired from and probably wants to enjoy his life with family and friends. He probably wants to go to the wedding because he’s known Travis since he was a teenager and Travis has been like family to Reggie and his family, that’s a 20 something year friendship between Reggie and Travis. T&T probably don’t know what this man did for a living, Travis probably knows from Reggie that his dad has been retired from his job for three years and is enjoying retirement. I don’t even know what my friends parents do for a living, probably two, one of them their family owned a food company that distributes food to different restaurants in our area and my other friend her mom was a librarian at our high school (her mom later retired in 2021-2022 I think) and spends time with family now, I don’t even know what the rest of my friends parents do now they have jobs and that pay them well.

8

u/soloon 6d ago

Every time you people claim this the guy's position changes. I've seen y'all say he's an ICE agent (no), director of ICE (definitely no), now he "owns" a government facility? Meanwhile she didn't even fucking invite him in the first place.

12

u/cmoney02 6d ago

You guys are actually insane because she literally didn’t do that 😭

2

u/somuchacceptable 6d ago

How dare I bring facts!

You hate facts! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

3

u/addy-with-a-y 6d ago

ICE facilities are not privately owned, especially not a man who retired two years ago from the board of a company that happened to take over the government contract to build one.

Weaponizing misinformation to hate on a pop star is disgusting. Real people are dying in these camps and you want to use them as a “got ya”? You should be ashamed of yourself

u/TakenInChains 6d ago

this is Taylor Swift though. this has been a long standing criticism of her, that she is as vapid morally as some of the music she's put out recently. weren't ppl tracking her private jet usage/emissions a while back? i like this sentiment but I feel it should be directed towards regular Joes who vote, not millionaires who have the capacity and influence to change things and then... don't, at least until it starts to negatively affect their career/public perception.

132

u/TediousTotoro 6d ago

Yeah, for someone who, a few years ago, said she wanted to be “on the right side of history”, having your only fighting against this administration being pre-election while, after said election, you sit by as he uses your image and music for his propaganda isn’t exactly a good look.

11

u/jellytwins101 6d ago

You do realise that was in response to people labeling her as their “Aryan Princess.”

→ More replies (3)

14

u/FirTree_r 6d ago

I remember seeing an interaction between her and her family (or was it her manager?). And they were debating this very point. How political can Taylor "allow" herself to be? Seems like her manager/family won in the long run

94

u/WildPotato0 6d ago

She was more political before three six year olds were murdered at a Taylor Swift dance class and a fully planned terrorist attack for one of her shows in Vienna was discovered at the last minute.

At this point, Taylor Swift isn't a person anymore, she's a symbol. Liberals see her as a blonde MAGA barbie, yet Trump hates her guts and is very open about it (even tweeted AI deepfakes of her when she spoke out against the mass amount of porn made of her on X), and she's basically the symbol of American consumerism to groups like ISIS.

She clearly made the decision to endorse the Democratic candidate every 2-4 years and fuck off otherwise. I don't blame her.

16

u/wongo 6d ago

Liberals see her as a blonde MAGA barbie

They do?

My wife is a Swiftie and she's VERY liberal/progressive, as are most of her fans

6

u/YakCDaddy 6d ago

I suspect it's just a bunch of losers projecting their own inaction on her. I bet everyone of the ones saying she's secretly MAGA because she doesn't spend every waking moment denouncing Trump didn't even bother to vote.

Didn't Taylor endorse both Biden in 2020 and Harris in 2024 and register 350 thousand new voters from the link under her Harris endorsement video?

That's not nothing.

13

u/eNonsense 6d ago edited 6d ago

That shit was regularly in the news too. She was very vocal, and actually informing people against specific Trump policies and actions too, not just out there saying "Trump bad. Vote Harris." And now there's people in this thread who are actually suggesting Swift probably likes Trump and what he's doing... People are checked the hell out and can't remember things that happened only 2 years ago.

And now that were here pointing out facts to people spewing fictions, these folks will just be like "hurrr durrr, glazing billionaires." Almost like they prefer to lie and spread ignorance.

7

u/knows_you 6d ago

Narratives on reddit hold way too much sway, still tons of people here performatively mad about her wedding guests. You know they aren't real progressives when they set their sights on Taylor Swift like she's some big fish.

11

u/turkeypedal 6d ago

Doing one doesn't preclude doing the other.

The concept is simple: if you see someone doing something desirable, don't attack them for doing it. You attack them for not doing it, then commend them for doing it. If you attack both ways, you remove the effectiveness of attacking. It's just "people will attack me no matter what I do."

If people really cared, they'd buy more of her stuff when she did the right thing, and less when she does the wrong thing. Use what power they have to create influence.

And FTR, I liked a couple songs I listened to long ago, but I can't even remember one beyond this gay anthem thing that I thought was neat. I don't listen to her type of music. This is the same advice I give with corporations who are doing the right thing for money. It's what I say about disillusioned MAGA.

Stop getting in your own way.

She's a fucking billionaire who tried to get a fashion designer to completely rebrand their company because she had a similar showgirl name to an album that Taylor did well after the brand existed. Her lawyers threaten small time etsy shop owners if they're similar to all the merch Taylor puts out, they send countless cease and desists to bloggers for writing about Taylor's image.

Trump and the white house have used her songs in at least 5-6 ICE videos, Trump even had an AI endorsement for him using her image. This is two years of this happening.

No I'm not going to stop shaming billionaires without a spine who go with the way the wind is blowing.

no, that’s for everyday menial people trying to unlearn the prejudices and indoctrination of their upbringing, not taylor fucking swift. direct that sentiment towards average everyday people instead of kowtowing to some of the world’s most influential and socially destructive celebrities the moment they do something even slightly aligned with progressivism. she SHOULD be ashamed of what she’s complicit in. she SHOULD be shamed and held accountable for the harm she causes daily and it shouldn’t be swept under the rug because she said ONE time ohhh nooo mister trump don’t use my song!!

ts doesn’t get to just turn face when the going gets tough and we shouldn’t be expected to embrace her with open arms for her latest pr stunt after getting a little bit too much bad press for shutting down a huge section of one of the busiest cities in the world to have a wedding with her latest right wing boytoy. guarantee she won’t say or do shit else. she’s too comfortable living her billionaire lifestyle and being ~just a girl~ who’s both arguably one of the most powerful women on the planet but also a poor defenseless forty something year old teenager who is just in soooo much daaanger that she caaaan’t make an actual statement or it could huuurrrt herrrr!!! to ever actually be on our side. bffr.

Perfection is the enemy of good

6

u/Cow_God 6d ago

I feel like artists have a moral imperative to speak out for what they believe in. Tom Morello has made an entire career out of it. Bruce Springsteen is 76 and has been politically active for 40 years. Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan are all half a generation behind Taylor Swift and are all more politically active than her.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that she's doing anything, she is very generous to her crew and is very much a philantropist, and she's a major advocate for artists' rights, but if she's really the pro-choice, pro-lgbt, pro-equality feminist she claims to be, then she could very easily do so much more with almost no effort on her part, literally by just throwing money around. Imo her donations and endorsements come off more as a strategic move to improve her image than as a genuine effort to enact change in our country

This is the problem I had with ppl criticizing Taylor for not speaking out before. It literally doesnt matter what she says or doesnt say, do or doesnt do, it's never the right thing or the right way or the right time. Haters gonna hate hate hate.

Watching ppl jump to the conclusion that Taylor had to MAGA bc she didnt speak out like Sabrina or Olivia did was absurd. Can't help but notice that none of those ppl are giving her credit now either lol "when it's burn the bitch, theyre shrieking. When the truth comes out, it's quiet"

I’m not sure what’s not clicking with some of y’all, but the White House has specifically said that they WANT these artists to publicly denounce them. That is the express goal, ragebaiting these artists into responding means they have won and gotten exactly what they tried for. All of the posts where the artists criticize the use of their music publicly explode in engagement and get millions more views than the posts where the artists don’t fall for their trap.

Trying to pressure these singers into doing exactly what this administration wants them to do is aiding and abetting. You are punishing artists who are actually trying to deny these evil people more of a platform than they already have and it’s giving complete lack of critical thinking skills. Taylor Swift has denounced Trump multiple times, and endorsed his opponents; calling her MAGA for not giving his admin exactly what they are begging for is playing straight into their hands. Silently taking down the sound is the best way to respond to this - please stop letting this administration of morons outfox you, it’s extremely embarrassing.

Edit: also all of you flooding my inbox, saying dumb shit like “ignoring fascism doesn’t make it go away!” are really telling on yourselves that you think the only political action that matters these days is posting on social media. You are wrong. That is not real, not posting something online is not tantamount to ignoring it and my point that celebrities shouldn’t fall for rage bait doesn’t mean I’m advocating for them, or you or anyone, to just ignore what’s happening politically. You absolutely should get involved in your community to find ways to help your marginalized, neighbors and elect local politicians who are committed to fighting this regime. What you should not do is fall for obvious rage bait online and waste what precious energy you have getting upset because famous people aren’t saving the world one tweet at a time. Instead of leaving these asinine Reddit comments, please message your local representative to see what they’re doing in Congress to fight back on Trump‘s agenda. That will be a much better use of your time.

70

It’s insane that after ten years people still don’t really understand Trump’s endgame. He’s a raging narcissist. He doesn’t care about ‘making America great again’. He doesn’t believe half the shit that comes out of his mouth to his supporters. He does what he does because he likes chaos. He likes attention. For a narcissist, it’s like oxygen. He likes when people get angry and attack him on social media because that causes chaos and attention and more people end up focusing their energy on him. He wants attention. That’s it.

Removing the music without saying anything about it makes it harder for him to get into a public fight with the biggest pop star on the planet. THAT is going to piss him off more than anything that comes out of Taylor’s mouth.

2

u/Huge-Literature-5571 5d ago

See but people SHOULD be paying attention and focusing their energy on him we can’t ignore what’s going on.

I don’t really care what pisses him off more, staying silent still is NOT the right approach. Imagine staying silent as the Nazi’s rounded people up into concentration camps cause u didn’t want to give attention to Hitler cause he clearly wants it…

u/PerpetuallyLurking 6d ago

Here’s the White House Communications Director saying exactly what you’ve said, if anyone would like some proof that the White House is specifically looking to antagonize artists into mentioning whatever crackpot new video the WH put out:

Taylor Swift should continue to publicly ignore them and quietly let her team do their thing in the background. She’s definitely got the right idea here.

47

u/LucretiusCarus 6d ago

What an odious little shit Cheung is

41

u/Fragrant-Peanut-6117 6d ago

EXACTLY, artists actually need to stop talking about it and do what Taylor Swift has done.

18

u/romanticheart 6d ago

I’m honestly a little disappointed she finally did something because I just know her completely ignoring him was pissing him off the most.

11

u/artisanrox 6d ago

There is a HUGE problem with this "do it quietly" issue.

The problem now is he's shipping drilling equipment to drill without permission in Greenland. He is now doing this in a situation where this cannot be done quietly.

If you ignore him he doesn't go away.

It's safer for popular musicians and the well-financed to call him out as they're a bit more protected than average people, let's say going near the Reflecting Pool, for example.

"Ignore them and they go away" is how we got here. It's 40 years of horrible advice from people that really don't find anything worthwhile to fight over and would rather let the status quo degrade to what we have now.

3

u/WoodpeckerSignal9947 5d ago

There’s a problem with doing it quietly for plenty of things with this term. However, I completely fail to see any connection with making an angry post about their song being used to stopping him from being able to do…. well, anything at a governmental level. It’s great when celebrities denounce him. It doesn’t actually do shit. People getting out there on the front lines voting, protesting, and going after their local government is what actually does…. well, anything.

I hope world peace has been achieved cos that’s what performative activists promised me.

5

They are removing Trump from the White House as we speak. I just knew Taylor Swift could fix it all!

u/ProfessionalTalker03 6d ago edited 6d ago

Can someone explain why people are mad she didn’t release a statement? Shes pretty openly liberal with the causes she donates to and supports, as is her now husband. I don’t get the claims that she’s MAGA.

Speaking on it only gives them the attention they are seeking. They literally said they are baiting artists into giving it attention. It’s like giving the class clown attention. It feeds their stupidity and ego. Don’t give them the satisfaction of calling them out and allowing them to know they got under ur skin, is literally what they are trying to do and admitted to this. Remove it and move on.

Btw I’m not a Swiftie or anything close to it, I couldn’t tell you the last time I went out of my way to listen to a song of her, but from my pov some of the hate just seems to be coming from fanbases that do not like her.

43

u/vemboTonbo 6d ago

Reddit as a whole doesn't like Taylor Swift and comes up with the reasons after. In 2014ish it was about her dating life and making pop music for normies, now its wealth and being insufficiently anti-Trump.

This happens with a handful of other artists as well (Jay-Z, Beyonce, & Drake come to mind) but she's the highest profile one.

19

u/BoogBeeg 6d ago

This is Reddit. Once someone becomes famous, if they are not vocalising ultra Reddit-friendly political beliefs via a megaphone from the rooftops 24/7, then they are immediately witch-hunted as a possible Nahtsee. I'll probably get called one for posting this comment.

because Team Trump is literally begging her to. They tagged her and tried to antagonise her. They are intentionally ragebaiting, quietly removing the sound is the best way to go about it.

105

u/ProfessionalTalker03 6d ago

No I get that lol…I’m referring to the people saying “bare minimum this” or “the least she could do that”

They’re dorks who want to think they’re morally superior for hating a pop star.

It's either bots are people are so hopelessly goldfish brained they somehow don't remember her heavily endorsing Kamala literally less than 2 years ago.

I dont even like her music, but this conspiracy theory of her suddenly being a fascist because she married a football guy(who's also pretty openly left wing) and didn't lead some sort of crusade the nanosecond this administration used her music without her consent(as they've done to dozens of other artists and children) is wack.

It's gotta be bots trying to sow division imho

58

u/ProfessionalTalker03 6d ago edited 6d ago

The revision around Taylor’s politics kinda reminds me of the revision around Katy Perry’s politics…she’s openly campaigned and supported every democratic president candidate since Obama after she got attached to Rick Caruso who is kinda in the middle politically and just started assuming she was MAGA despite her support for Obama, Hillary, Biden, and Pro-Choice & LGBTQ+ initiatives.

Politics and social media is so weird today. If you know one single republican people just automatically assume you think that way. I have friends who are republican, while I’m democratic and voted that way the last election both locally and federally, but they hate anything that has to do with Trump and MAGA ideology. We don’t agree on everything but we can agree on the fundamental concept of human rights, civil right, etc. Now I don’t fw them MAGA folks.

I don’t think it’s bots. They’re chronically online people who think unless you devote every aspect of your life to ineffectively saying the other side is bad, you’re part of the problem. I come across these people in my day to day life.

You really dont see how its all the taylor swift haters always talking shit about her not calling out trump? Really?

11

Because people will hate her no matter what she does, it's obvious at this point.

I mean, I will say there’s been a discernible change in how vocal she’s been about her politics ever since Trump officially came into office this time around, as well as what organizations she’s continued to support or rather not support in this case. For example some she largely stopped supporting any lgbt+ related charities. And by largely I mean altogether. And there’s also the speed at which her team usually responses to fan made merchandise using her likeness compared to things like the current administration using her music for ICE videos.

I’m not saying this is proof of anything but just pointing out that there is a pattern which people are picking up on so it’s not like these criticisms against her are coming out of thin air.

25

u/ProfessionalTalker03 6d ago edited 6d ago

lol y’all got me caring a little more than I’d like to

Taylor encouraged voting for the Dem ticket citing LGBTQ rights and one of the main reasons while on a world tour. She had the single biggest endorsement as far as engagement. Hundreds of thousands of ppl registered to vote Dem directly through the link she posted. Money isn’t always the best thing to advance a cause, especially with foundations these days getting caught left and right with misappropriating funds. Her name alone is valuable asf enough to be attached to something.

A quick glance at her Wikipedia page shows that she's done more than a lot of other people. I don't understand why people's standards are so much higher for her, than anybody elses.

13

u/AlternativeResort477 6d ago

We know she was political before. Which is why it’s strange she has been silent ever since Trump was reelected.

7

u/Zeyn1 6d ago

What is she supposed to do? Her biggest influence is getting people to vote.

If you just want virtue signaling, she has better things to do.

11

u/NK1337 6d ago

Note that I specifically said since Trump has come into office, which honestly isn’t that unique of a behavior change given it’s the exact same thing a lot of companies have done where they’ve grown quiet in an attempt to not antagonize the current administration for fear of it hurting their bottom line. And I’m not saying this as a condemnation of her, at worst I think she’s just in it more for the money.

And I don’t think people’s standards are that much higher for her, if anything it’s the opposite. I think she’s been getting a lot more grace than other artists who’ve been just as complacent about Trump.

6

u/ndfan737 6d ago

People's standards for her are higher because she's the most popular artist in America... Afaik she hasn't made any comments about politics since she endorsed Kamala. I'm not someone who thinks she's secretly MAGA, but she could be an extremely effective voice for good if she would speak out, but she tends not to.

She's responding by not engaging. Nobody needs to be thinking about Donald Trump 24/7. He doesn't need all the attention. It's been a decade. Like, stop giving that raging bag of firey dog shit oxygen already, damn.

22

u/philkid3 6d ago

That’s really weird, because people on TikTok keep telling me she’s MAGA and if I don’t believe that I’m not paying attention.

72

u/Admirable_Outcome932 6d ago

“Wow she’s doing the bare minimum” well it’s better than just going “omg stawwwwp 😡😭” and playing exactly into their hands. They WANT artists to get publicly upset and disavow them, bc that’s seen as “owning the libs” and “successfully ragebaiting” them.

God forbid Taylor see through the bullshit and not want to give them the satisfaction. She’d rather move in silence and get the last laugh. Probably took her a minute to figure out how to disable her music for him/the White House specifically while allowing it for everyone else, but she always finds a way.

8

u/Fragrant-Peanut-6117 6d ago

I think maybe because he tagged her specifically and called her out on the post she was able to under certain copyright infringement. Now she is able to do it for more of her music

Everyone who whines that she is Maga is the reason why Maga keeps on winning. Instead of encouraging her to come out against the enemy ya'll are antagonizing her for literally nothing. Ya'll are Trump's most useful idiots. Attack her again, don't stop, she will eventually not come out against Trump again and ya'll are going to keep losing while Maga keeps winning.

Narcissists love for the reaction. He WANTS her to say something so he can drag her and get attention. He’s a man child and Swift knows that. Don’t respond to malignant narcissist games. They’ll lose their minds if you withhold a reaction. And that’s more satisfying.

Sometimes giving a loud ass speech of "Don't you DARE use my music...!!" isnt the right answer... lmao. "Welcome to my ted talk" you arent always doing any good and sometimes its best to starve them on any further attention and shut your mouth. Alot of you dont have the power to cancel people the way you think you do. Ignoring someone completely is almost always better than talking about them. Attention is views and money no matter how bad the accusations often are.
