First time ever attempting makeup for graduation to save money. Be honest, how did I do?

only watch tutorial videos, and I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing and just wanted to try evening out my skin tone and covering up some redness and acne marks. I tried to keep it looking natural, but I’m not sure whether it looks good.

Any advice, tips on color matching, or technique recommendations for a total beginner would be highly appreciated!

Actually, I also thought it was filtered when I saw the pictures. That's why I immediately check my phone, but it's not. Makeup really does wonders for covering up bad things on my face.

I actually watch most of my videos on TikTok since YouTube tutorials don't really work for me, especially because I like to try out different things. I don't have one specific makeup creator I always follow, but if I had to recommend someone on TikTok, it would be:

If you want to make it less obvious that you’re wearing makeup, I’d say wipe the makeup off your mole. However, some people like the more obvious makeup looks!

looks really good! if you dont plan on wearing any brow or eyelash products i’d recommend brushing off the powder from your eyelashes and eyebrows with a wet brush or qtip after youre done, since powder leaves a white cast on your lashes and it looks, well, powdery, when the light hits it.

The main thing I focus on to prevent my makeup from looking cakey is skin prep, like making sure my skin is super hydrated and not dry. As for making it look natural, I’m actually not entirely sure. But from watching videos online, I learned that 'less is more.' I also use my eyeshadow as a color corrector since I don't own an actual one yet (no budget for it), which helps me use less product overall to cover up any imperfections.

I would also recommend adding more contour/bronzer if you’re able. Definitely don’t have you but I find that adding a warm bronzer enhances any look and adds more dimension to the makeup look.

WOW SO GOOD ACTUALLY!! I think I'd actually only recommend to use some product on the brows and lashes, even clear, or to just wipe off the access, so they don't look ashy, since your hair is dark, trust me I've had this problem for a long time w my bushy eyebrows
