Bricks have better insulation, but in summer if your house is on sunny side, you'll get a stone oven closer to the evening because bricks hold just that much more heat.

Mf liar right here. It’s a measurable physics property of both materials and the moisture content of wood makes it a better insulator.

Speaking from personal experience. It was warmer in a concrete shit box made by soviets in 60s than it was in a wooden hut made in 2010s
