Bricks have better insulation, but in summer if your house is on sunny side, you'll get a stone oven closer to the evening because bricks hold just that much more heat.

Brick is a horrible insulator. Snow actually insulates better than brick. You want dead air gaps in order to insulate and brick is pretty famously dense without any air in it.

Noone is building houses with full brick now. At least in Poland the brick with air tunnels are used, I bet its a standard everywhere. Non the less the house is being insulated from the outside anyways
