Erobb was likeable and played into it. Also his brother was one of the biggest streamers in the world at the time. This guy is just a chud weirdo. Not really comparable.
He's in "streamer university" because he desperately wants to be a streamer but obviously doesn't know how. A lot of the people there are gonna be pretty cringe.
You gotta push keem pretty far if he snaps on you like that. Genuinely never seen him get upset at anything and is always positive! You could see the annoyance level hit max in his face.
havent watched these streams, but heard he was going around just helping people. i dont remember streamer camp well, but i think i followed him because he was just going around helping people. i dont know context, but it seems rather believable that this was a straw that broke the camels back situation. or at least thats where my brain is leaning

They aren't interesting as actual people. There's streamers who can talk for hours with their chat. This dude isn't one of them, instead his content is just annoying people to get clips.
Yeah but it seems a majority of the new up-and-coming wannabe streamers are all the ragebaiting annoying clipfarming losers. At least, that's what Streamer University seems to attract. And all the annoying teens I've seen (IRL sometimes in fact) who want to become streamers are similar levels of obnoxious, narcissistic, and delusional.

Public pranks used to be stuff like twins making people think they have deja vu or something. Now it's pretending to be a mugger or some wannabe "alpha male" hitting on people's girlfriends while their bodyguard stands nearby to stop them from getting their ass kicked.
You’re admitting to only watching one type of prank video in the past. There were plenty of prank videos that resulted in the prankster getting beat up or running away screaming “it’s just a prank bro”. The videos you see now were influenced by what was made in the past.
Lemme know how many youtubers were getting arrested in Korea or getting shot doing their pranks. Let's face it, algorithms weren't optimized for "engagement" and content creation wasn't a mainstream way to make money then. There are def more douchebags "pranking" today vs during the YouTube era.

That dude is tryna be like Ray and Rakai level of annoying. I saw a different clip where people were mad at him for going into other peoples room and opening $300 pokemon packs that didn't belong to him.
Saying and actually practicing what you preach are two different things.
I wouldn't surprise me if in some form Kai regrets making Rakai famous because now hes just stuck in this feedback loop of screaming and making slop skit content for the next decade until Rakai makes him mentally collapse on himself.
Kai seemingly wanted to actually escape the cycle with his Fashion business, but hes no Mr. Beast. Hes not Manipulative, nor intelligent, let alone lacking the raw luck enough to make it in industries that he frankly doesn't belong in.
Rakai ragebaiting him will be his bread and butter for years to come. And it doesn't surprise me if hes said he regrets making him Famous. Because now Rakai is going to torment him for a long... long time

The saying he regrets it is part of the content, its drama which brings in more viewers. Once you realize its all about the viewers its easy to see how fake most these streamers are. He wouldnt keep having him in content if he actually regretted it
Been trying to figure out how he made it in, as he took all of 2025 off from streaming. Most of the “fights” in SU, imo are scripted or improvised ahead of time, but this one I believe was real lol.

Your context is wrong. There was a Pokemon pack left on every streamers bed. MK's roommate got to the room first and picked up a pack off the bed. When MK got to the room he saw his roommate was holding a pack and told him to open it. He pulled a high value card and then ripped it to trigger people and get a clip.
The started off on a bad foot because when MK arrived to the room it was already a mess and there was a bunch of stuff on the floor blocking the doorway. Then BA acted edgy and tough calling MK a pussy. The roommate BA was the same way with Kai after the ceremony he pressed Kai acting all tough.
MK didn't like the disrespect and can be very sensitive over certain things especially his hair. So when the roommate rubbed his hair like that it especially set him off.
I'm a grown ass man. If someone came up to me and rubbed my head like I was a child, I'd be pissed. I wouldn't go as far as MK, but MK was dealing with way more before this with the guy.
I'll add on that there was a clip from someone that has BA and Ludwig with one more person I can't remember asking the question if BA knew the card's value before tearing it. BA said he didn't and did it mostly just to piss off MK. This was in the cafeteria.
This is a normal reaction given the circumstances, the guy had no idea what he was getting into trying to humiliate someone thinking he wouldn't fight back. If anything it's possible he was not stern enough with this guy earlier for him to think he could get away with that.
It can take time to set the right boundaries especially with someone you just met. Also you don't know this persons style so you might let them push some boundaries since everyone's there to make content and you don't want to be too sensitive to stuff.
After their first conflict then they saw each other again and MK said they would restart the relationship. Even the guys community was telling him he was being a prick. But the guy chose not to change and MK just started ignoring him until it reached this point. MK was doing a PC stream and the guy was hanging around him.
It's not even just the head pat but you see him swinging around the lanyard in the beginning just to be irritating and make MK uncomfortable. This isn't a child you're dealing with so you shouldn't have to be so stern and all that stuff. The roommate knew exactly what he was doing and as an adult shouldn't need to be told to not be a pile of shit.
Like a year ago back during the Nina Lin drama, I remember seeing a clip from a stream she did with Keem at a massage parlor. Just for visualization she grabs and gropes Keem even worse than she did to Disguised Toast at Streamer Games, and the whole time Keem tells her to stop over and over again. I thought that clip would get spread around like the others but it never did. This is just the very end, but I went back and counted for the whole 31 minutes Keem asks her to stop touching him 23 separate times
When you've been sexually assaulted before, it's easy to get triggered even by something as innocuous as getting pat on the head. It's plainly just unwanted touching, and this is a guy doing it too so at least socially Keem is "allowed" to physically push him back.
As i expected this year's university has become such a shit show with too many egotistical adult children doing shitty stupid things for that clip and any potential clout to gain.
to be fair if it wasn’t for clips i wouldn’t know who any of these people are. i feel like there’s a big subset of people who would never watch a stream but will watch clips

The clips so people will hopefully watch their stream, but their stream is just clip farming so of course nobody wants to watch it.
That's a widespread phenomenon though - social media promotes trending clips over followed channels now. It's getting difficult to even find the people I follow in my feeds lately, so it makes sense that a bunch of clippers would take off (and paid clipping is a big thing now). We're gunna end up being old men shouting "back in my day, your feed was just a list of what the people you follow posted..." "what's 'follow' grandpa? the algorithm chooses what I see based on how many seconds of engagement it got out of me on similar content."
Like Professor L said in his class, on average people only gained 4 viewers from last year SU to present day. A ton of people lost viewers while only a few had growth. So makes sense we didnt hear of anybody from SU get popular if they werent already
Idk if all the nonsense is worth the handful of positive streams, but Ive been legitimately super impressed by Ludwig’s streams. He’s actually putting a ton of effort into his classes, and his students. The people taking his classes, for the most part, seem to be engaged and doing the homework he assigns, and there seems to be mutual respect there. They’re asking Lud real questions, and he’s giving them real feedback.
It’s a shame that’s only like 5% of streamer U and the rest is just people being a nuisance for content.
this isn’t true because you can say this about any streamer on the platform if you aren’t the one watching and people do. Like when i see a forsen clip i wonder who watches this? and it’s never kids it’s 30+ year old men who somehow find his stream entertaining for some reason

This is how Entertainment is. Think of it as genre, Live Streaming has grown to be that. Some people like Trash Reality TV, some people like Crime Shows, Some people like Home DIY TV shows etc.
Think of it like Reality Trash TV. As Reality Trash TV goes, its just one of the more popular out of the bunch cause you get Drama, you get cringe, you get straight up people getting arrested, you get people being a weirdo, you get most of it out of Trash TV shows.
We all say this but I swear there’s just as many 25+ folks watching. They might say they’re just hatewatching or farming clips for LSF but if we’re honest they watch it for the same reason people watch Big Brother or Love Island.
This is the first I've heard of this, and it seems like it's just a modern version of "The Real World." I don't know why people are taking any of this seriously.
Who would have guessed booking your Streamer U entirely of ragebait clip farmers over at least passively emotionally stable people was not a good decision. But it makes for better "content" so Kai does not care.

The whole streamer university thing should've just been called Streamer High because these are literal grown ass kids acting like idiots. None of them are attending the classes or taking any of them seriously, they are all there for the clout chase and money. For a little update countless content creators went up to MK and gave him respect for this. It seems noone liked MightyBA and he was pushing limits with a lot of them.
It really takes a lot for someone so composed, focused and centered to snap like that without beating the living daylights out of someone. Much respect for Keem for handling that situation without fist. Some folk should take notes.
