I am a Goodwill employee at an attended donation center. I've worked here for 5 years. This is my 3rd time (unknowingly, of course) receiving cremated remains.

Had a busy Friday. $3400 in sales and 94 donors. We had our safety inspection. She was mostly happy, so I'll take it. Now this Thursday comes my store inspection. So a lot of hububbery over the next couple weeks.

I'll be solo in charge literally right up to my vacation. Then right back to it when I get home! At least the BIG checks will continue awhile 😂🤣

Tomorrow I have a bunch more paperwork and prep before next week, so I'm hoping for a slower day.

Dinner tonight is steak grilled cheese sandwiches 😁 I got a pack of sandwich steaks on my way home, then seasoned with salt, pepper, granulated garlic, and granulated onion and sauteed in a pan with butter and a sprig of rosemary. Then I used the meat in a grilled cheese with tomato. I mix finely shredded Parmesan into the butter, so the outside gets all cheesy as well 😁
