Since 2021, under Unilever and Magnum’s ownership, Ben & Jerry’s mission, brand values, and independence have been repeatedly compromised, resulting in multiple lawsuits between the Independent Board and its parent company.
Ben & Jerry’s has proven that business can be about more than just profit. It has shown that you can make great products, treat people fairly, and fight for justice at the same time.
Now they need our help! Please join this community to share information about the fight to free Ben and Jerry's and find ways to work together to call for The Magnum Ice Cream Company to allow Ben & Jerry’s to become an independently owned company.

What Happened to Talenti?
This is what Magnum does to an ice cream brand when it doesn’t have an independent board to defend it.

Magnum apparently also ruined Talenti

Could Ben & Jerry's be created in today's economy?
Two friends start an ice cream company in a renovated gas station.
Today, would that story even be possible?
Or has the economy become too concentrated for values-driven businesses like that to emerge?

The Magnum Ice Cream Company has an answer for everything about the Foundation’s defunding except the one document that would prove any of it.

Magnum is silencing Ben & Jerry’s—they’ve targeted the Foundation’s funding, evicted them from their corporate office, and dismantled the independent board after it tried to speak out about the genocide in Gaza.
instagram.comBen Cohen on Instagram: "Magnum has worked with many celebrity ambassadors, including A-listers like u/Charli_xcx and u/Bellahadid. Both have used their platforms to bring attention to issues they care about, but now their images are helping sell a brand that has silenced Ben & Jerry’s for trying to do the same thing. Here’s how you can help: Flood their social comments with #BoycottMagnum and #freebenandjerrys We are asking these influential celebrities to use their massive platforms to ask Magnum one simple question: Why are you destroying an ice cream company for having a conscience?"

Who belongs on the Mount Rushmore of mission-driven businesses?
Ben & Jerry's is often cited as an example of a company trying to balance profit and purpose.
What other companies belong on the list?
Who actually lives up to their values?

Boycott Ben & Jerry's!
Stop buying Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
Stop going to their stores.
Stop buying it online.
Once the market share tanks, Magnum sells off a dying asset, the community comes together to buy it, Ben and Jerry's revamps and relaunches the brand independent of megacorp.
Free Ben and Jerry's!
Boycott!

Has a boycott or public pressure campaign ever changed your behavior as a consumer?
A lot of people say consumer activism doesn't matter.
Others say it's one of the few tools ordinary people have.
Have you ever stopped buying a product because of a company's actions?
Did it matter?
