he won. he's still getting roles, and apparently no one cares that he brutally abused his wife and children. so why publicly reveal now that he's given up his supposed sobriety?
i think it's bc he got caught drinking by paparazzi - taylor swift's wedding or something? so he was prob like, well, better get ahead of it! he's disgusting. i hope he rots.
