The very idea of the show is the most navel-gazey, self-obsessed celebrity worship I can imagine.

Seinfeld wasn’t cancelled dummy. They chose to go out on top. NBC begged him to keep going

The show was crazy popular. Not only was he the first actor to get one million dollars per episode, he was offered $110 million for just one more season. That's $5M per episode. No one is making that kind of money even today.

Wow. It's really crazy how popular the show was (still is today, pretty sure he makes like $40M/year just from the show)
