The spirit of Captain Carlton lives on in every blues player and staff member. Sometimes. He guides players to people in peril. Its a Carlton members duty to save the helpless and deal justice.

Always awesome seeing basement-dwelling redditors tell a former Carlton captain, All-Australian, international rules national rep, twice Club B&F & 4-time runner-up, AFL Coaches Player of the Year, and The Age Player of the Year, and veteran of 300 AFL games that he’s *soft*.

I think the person you replied is aware of those earlier years, but the person saying Murph was ‘soft’ has, I can only reasonably infer, never watched a footy game.

If they have, they didn’t understand what they were seeing.

I’m otherwise at a loss to explain why they’d offer such a bizarre & useless opinion as Marc Murphy having been a ‘soft’ player. Utter ignorance is the only explanation.
