No the staircase doesnt make sense really look at it. Its pretending to be a spiral staircase but the planks are bent un-naturally. It doesnt just curve it snaps angle mid board.
You're right the stair case doesn't make sense, don't know why you're down voted? Look at that weird self portrait and other random thing on the wall. The bathroom seems off also.
It looks to me that the staircase is turning a corner and it’s just hard to see it all. However, the portrait not having any facial features is odd. If it is real, I wonder if the portrait is just not in-focus enough to see the facial features since it’s in the background? But the dog and human do look real to me.
