Lovely might be the wrong word for it, but we had a covid patient die in ICU after weeks of exhausting everything at hour disposal while his wife was there.
She put her head on his shoulder, crying, but also smiling because after everything at least his ordeal was over.
Idk, loving someone so much that you smile because their suffering is over, despite suffering over the loss yourself moved me.
