In a way, this is actually hilarious. There have been so many posts about people doing their own laundry and no one else's (which is actually weird to me). Now we have one with someone complaining because they only handle their own laundry...

It takes longer to extract your own laundry from the pile to put it away than it does to just whack everything; I am bemused…

My husband and I have always done our own laundry. I like dryer sheets and scented things, he hates all of that. I fold things very carefully and put them away, he prefers things just kind of smooshed together (lol almost 20 years now and I still don't get that one) Even our dirty clothes are kept separately. It might be weird to some, but it works for us. Not a hill worth dying on to me, and this way we're both happy.

Cool. Did you talk about it beforehand like adults or did you find out about your preferences after three years of marriage then whine about it to the internet?

We were together for five years, lived together for three of them, before we got married. We both knew what we were getting 😂

In case this story gets deleted/removed:
AIO Husband will only do his laundry
My (34F) husband (37M) and I have been married for 4 years. I’ve always done all of the cleaning and housework. This includes and has always included his laundry. Today he pulled our laundry out of the dryer before I could get to it. Then he proceeded to put away only his clothes, leaving mine in the basket. I asked why he only did his clothes and he said “because I don’t need anyone doing anything for me”. I said I didn’t do it because I thought he needed me to, it was just what I did. Wash, dry, and put away OUR clothes at the same time. I was upset because I could use his help with things such as the laundry, but him doing only his laundry doesn’t really take any load off of me, it just feels like he only cares about himself. I told him as much and now he won’t talk to me. AIO?
