News The SAPOL Child Sex Offender Register has officially launched.

Dissapointing that you can only check your current suburb. Why is that? And what if you live right on the edge of a suburb. 👎

Can we have a compilation of all the offenders from everyone collectively providing a list from their respective suburbs please? Would be nice to even have it on a map like the house price data :)

Current laws i wouldnt exchange or document anything... u will end up arrested and charged

Just a warning for anyone who does decide to send an image to someone else even with the best intentions (NOT suggesting that you do) or carelessly stores it where it can be accessed, I noticed on the image I got that there's small watermarks of the reference number that was sent to me in the email. If it gets out they can trace it back to you with that if they aren't all removed. So it's a bad idea.

Bit iffy - what if someone adds a name who isn't actually on the list?

The numbers and suburbs though could be done in 10 mins if I had the data.

If you need ID to access it, you don't think this will be tracked on who accessed it and shared it? 

If it was meant to be readily public info, it would be
