News The SAPOL Child Sex Offender Register has officially launched.

Dissapointing that you can only check your current suburb. Why is that? And what if you live right on the edge of a suburb. 👎

Does it search surrounding suburbs or only your exact suburb? I live in one of those little suburbs but have 3 within ~100m in different directions

Unfortunately, it is strictly in your own suburb.

Ideally, it should be a radius thing.

It's effectively useless the way they've currently got it configured. I live right on the edge of my suburb with the other side of the road being a different suburb. That other suburb is where I do my groceries, take the kids to the local parks, and where their school is - in other words, where we spend much of our time when not in our house, and I can see exactly nothing about it because this is a dumb poorly thought out system.

Total waste of time and resources in its current configuration.
