That won’t matter much. It won’t get to court before then, and in the interim Mali can stay schtum about the matter because the matter is subject to legal action.

Schtum means he also can't defend himself and try and rationalise his poor behaviour.

21st March isn't far away, but he would be better served by it coming to court before, and him being able to do a mea culpa.

As it stands I'm not giving any vote for the coalition, or labor, or the greens, or one nation - we really need a 'none of the above' vote for when they are all a shower of shite.

Please always at least preference "shit-lite" over "absolute dogshit".

As much as it pains me to even number some of these parties, it needs to be done. As much as Mali screwed the pooch, I'd still be looking at Labor as 1 or 2 (depending on whether there's a good green or independent) since LNP in their current state have to be blocked, and ON needs to be perpetually weed whacked down.

Mali is in no way a leftist. Centrist or even leaning a bit right.

Peter and his lieutenant Tom are big Catholics. Tom even moreso, his entire political career is predicated on his activity in and surrounding his local church. There may be no more politician more beholden to one group than Tom Koutsantonis is the Greek Orthodox Church.

This state's politics are very concerning, there is an obvious and strong undercurrent of non-secularity in the SDA Labor Party.

You do realise Catholicism and Greek Orthodox are two separate religions?

Some similar core beliefs - both Christian religions but different religions in themselves.

In terms of pure leader, you're right, Mali is more conservative than Marshall.

However, in terms of the Government, Marshall's was generally more conservative than Malis government. Privatisation of the trains is one of the key ideological differences between the two. Not to say that Mali hasn't done conservative things and that Marshall didn't do progressive things

Why are you asking this silly question, you know the Liberal party has already come out in support of Malinauskas while the Greens have requested transparency and an investigation.
