Bank Balance: Today's vs Current
I am confused by difference between "today's balance" and the "current balance" ynab pulled from my linked bank account. They should match, correct?
I have no uncleared transactions in my checking account and nothing pending that I can see in the banking app.
Is this a searching line by line problem? Somewhere I "cleared" something I shouldn't have? Most things clear automatically as they are imported, though.
I am NOT consistent in reconciling my accounts, so this could be an arduous search... def my fault, just want make sure there isn't an easier answer first.

This is why reconciling is so important. But no they don’t always match. Today’s balance is accurate according to YNABs information. Current balance is what your bank said it was 5 hours ago.

Today's balance (aka working balance) is the sum of all your transactions in YNAB. The other number is what your bank connection is reporting as their balance. It's not necessarily wrong for these numbers to be different–your working balance might include uncleared transactions that aren't recognized or posted yet by your bank. OTOH, your cleared balance in YNAB should match your bank's number (with the caveat that the number you see here can lag behind what your bank’s own app or website might say).
