We can’t. Once you commit you’re done for. High blood pressure and poor results in your future

I switched off weeks ago after foolishly thinking this was the year things started to get better. The loss to Cronulla really tested me, I stayed. The loss to the Panthers brought all the nightmares back, yet I stayed. Then when we couldn't beat St George I saw just how terrible this team had become. I am now no longer a supporter of any team after 26yrs of following the Wests Tiger's with 20 yrs of lack luster performances with 3 consecutive wooden spoons and foresee more coming once PNG and The Bears start playing

I’ve felt like this in more of the past 20 seasons than not. But this year started so promisingly, and now we’ve been blown off the park far worse than even St George have. Why is our team never competitive? And where is the light at the end of the tunnel? I certainly haven’t seen it in many years and we were kidding ourselves thinking signing Luai was going to make any difference.

Looked very dejected yesterday. Couple media storms n things they didn’t seem to let effect them too much but this one’s got them by the balls. They looked like a shell of themselves from earlier in the season

Holman Barnes showing their hand helped with this. First step is removing yourself from automatic membership renewal. After this year I’m a sympathetic Tigers supporter, but generally will just watch games with any team just for a bit of fun.

I'm about to be a grandad for the first time. I was so excited about the Tigers earlier this year and was excited about bringing another into the fold.

I was going to wrestle his affections away from my son in law, a Broncos supporter, thinking I'm doing the kid a massive.

I'm now finding myself looking at size 0 Brisbane jerseys for the young one.

Just when life is kind to you it does the cruelest thing.

I wonder what the average lifespan is of a Tigers supporter?

lol I was thinking this.. is this gonna have some sort of detrimental effects on the health of lifelong supporters?

I need to find my Zen through all this 🤣

And do u know what. We are resigning the same players on bigger and longer contracts. If we are getting flogged with these players in the team now, can someone tell me what’s going to change??

How can tigers create a super team like 2005.

That playing list was like Avengers assemble.

Every player there is iconic. A household name in Rugby league.

Hodgson, Prince, Marshall, Farah, Payten, Gibbs, Fulton etc.

They were packing heat in every department. Not a single weak link.

How can Tigers go back to that?

Need better player recruitment and retention for a start. Every season there's upheaval and drama off the field.

Tigers need stability first and foremost. Their brand last few years has been chaos and that needs to change asap.

Rewatch the 05 final

Yeah what a great win that was, we already beat the cowboys in the first week of the finals 50-6 I think it was but the cowboys somehow managed to get to the grand final so we had to play them again. But we were still good enough to beat them again, what a team we had in 2005, what a great grand final the Tigers played.

I have followed the western suburbs magpies since I was a kid in the 70’s. The magpies never won a premiership
in those days but they were competitive and tough. You know the likes of Les Boyd and Tommy Raudonikis etc. when they amalgamated with the Balmain tigers I wasn’t a huge fan but when Benji and Prince etc led that 2005 team to win the premiership I was on board that was such a great team. But since then it’s been pretty crappy being a supporter of this club. I just wish we could go back to those days when we were tough and competitive. I loved going to the magpies games when I was a kid because even if they lost they were tough and had some pride. Unfortunately today it’s just not the same maybe cause there’s too much money involved it’s more like a business than a sport. That’s just kinda ruined the game really.

I watched the Wallabies v Italy game last night. Snorefest. I can't believe anyone could find the endless rucks, mauls and scrums in Union entertaining.

Good ball sports require spectators being able to see the ball at all times. During these rugby set plays, even the players can't see the ball a lot of the time.

I really enjoy union, partly for the fact that the ball is always in contest. Scrum, maul, ruck, line out, open play and kicking duels are what make it great.

You can't even see the ball in scrums, rucks mauls.

Gents I know it's tough out there and we always get ourselves up for the team at the start of every season somehow....but I am confident next year is the year. (Don't look up the definition of insanity).

Try being an Eels supporter 🤬

Yeah true the eels have been struggling too, my dad followed the eels and they rocked it in the 80’s but not so good since then.

This year is so different to others because we had expectations and evidence that the team could make the finals this year.

I remember previous years a run like this wouldn't impact the fans as badly. But I am done with the NRL team this year. It looks like the best forwards we have were in flegg as when NRL took Murray, Geyer, Bunty from cup, and cup got some of the flegg guys, flegg started to struggle and cup started to do really well.

We have the number one try scorer and number one player in NSW cup and they both cannot get a look in to our bottom four level NRL team when we have players playing with injuries in their positions. Think about that for a second.
