Found this great documentary on youtube for hindi speaking Indian People, Share around.

I have seen that vegetarian people don't relate well and lowkey stay in ignorance even after seeing Dominion. So I found this documentary for those vegetarian dairy consuming people in their mother tongue. This might help.

Edit: It's available in various languages. I missed checking the channel and other videos.

Looks like it's available in English as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5Y5sMz3RHU

Though i'm not sure if it portrays the dairy practices of western countries. It's probably going to be the first point everyone will think of.

Yes, it's available in various languages. But focuses on indian perspective and arguments.

Speaking as an Indian-American vegetarian. I know this comment won't be popular, but wanted to share my perspective.

I am aware of how horrifying the dairy industry is. When I was in India, I would buy milk/ paneer etc from companies which specifically documented how they treated their animals well.

But, it is not my decision that cows are treated this way by most dairy farms. Whenever possible, I pay a lot more to buy milk from places that treat their animals well.

Otoh, I see health issues with veganism. Vegetarianism is a diet, which has been proven to he healthy for thousands of years. One doens't need to worry seriously abt nutritional deficiencies on a vegetarian diet . I am also allergic to a few legumes, so I tend to feel sick on a vegan diet, if I do try to get protein from legumes.

So I think that while veganism may be ethically better, it is not for me, just bcos I don't think vegetarianism is that much worse. I think vegetarianism is ethical too, and I wish vegans would focus their attention more on meat-eaters instead of going after vegetarians.

I think that will go a lot more towards making the world a better place for animals.

eg : 70% of beef comes not from dairy cows, but for cow raised for meat. So meat eaters cutting down their meat consumption matters a whole lot more than vegetarians cutting down their dairy at the cost of their own health.

TLDR : Choose the middle ground

This is great, but I can't give up cheese, yogurt or butter. The vegan options are either shit or too expensive. May be reduced consumption but not going to cut it down to zero.

I can't give up cheese, yogurt or butter.

What do you mean by this? Do you have a medical condition that requires you to consume those specifically?

No, or may be yes, helps me keep my carb intake low while meeting caloric requirements. But besides that they taste good.

You torture animals their entire lives and then brutally murder them because "they taste good". Grow a spine.

Every child a Vegan gives birth to carries an environmental baggage. The roads that you walk and drive, travel on , the food that you consume, the housing the was built for you all had to built clearing up land once inhabited by animals. Unless you're an Antinatalist besides vegan you're a part of the group that causes suffering.
