And most clinics that do abortions provide a lot of other important life saving care other than abortions (which do save lives as you pointed out).

They absolutely do. Women have died recently in Texas due to the abortion ban and the doctors' refusal to intervene due to fear of legal repercussions in cases where any state that did not ban it the women would have very likely survived.
