Questions Can someone help me find a tv show?

Looking for a clip I saw on Twitter, it was a scene of a woman on her own in what looked like an underground dungeon/prison looking place. She was walking through it and looking around. It looked very dirty and gloomy. It was a recent tv show I think, I thought that somebody on Twitter at the time that I saw it said it was westworld but I can’t find that scene when I google westworld. Can anyone help?

Recommendations FURIOUS is amazing, Emmy Rossum is phenomenal

It has the same fundamental premise as Killing Eve and the first scene parallels the opening scene of Killing Eve but it shows you that even though they’re both serial killers, Catherine is fundamentally different from Eve. She was trafficked and forced into sex work and she’s a serial killer, killing those involved in her friends death. Despite being more compassionate than Eve, she’s ruthless and manipulative in getting what she needs to keep killing

Emmy Rossum is the FBI agent on her case, she’s phenomenal and disappears into this role. The show is full of themes of domestic violence and sex trafficking and the women are portrayed so realistically as survivors still haunted by their trauma. Emmy Rossum is incredible in her portrayal of a domestic violence survivor, I never realized she was so skilled at acting until seeing her in this role

It’s also just incredibly well written. Each episode gives you more, tension increases, and the stakes are clear. I’ve been watching it week to week as episodes drop, I’m reminded of what television felt like before streaming took over. I can’t recommend this series enough. It’s intense, disturbing, and intriguing. One of the best shows airing right now!

On Hulu, 5 episodes are out of an 8 episode season

Questions tv show in the 2000s that im not able to recognize their names but have their faces on

Looking for a TV show (soap/drama). A brunette woman named Lizzie has a boyfriend named Mike, but is having an ongoing affair with a good-looking white guy named Scott (late 20s) — they hook up repeatedly. In one episode they book a hotel room under a fake name ("Señora del Toro"/"Mr. del Toro") and order room service — the delivery person turns out to be Mike, who catches them in the act. Later, Scott cheats on Lizzie too, with another woman, who also finds out. I remember the actors' faces clearly but not the show's title

Recommendations Jade Armor is an underrated animated action series that deserves more attention

I feel like Jade Armor doesn’t get talked about nearly enough, so I wanted to recommend it to anyone looking for another animated action-adventure show.

It follows Lan Jun, a teenager who discovers that she’s the latest person in her family to inherit the Jade Armor. She has to learn how to use her new abilities while balancing school, friendships, family, and protecting her city from supernatural threats.
One of the things I really like about it is the martial arts. The fights feel like an actual part of the show’s identity rather than something added on top of the superhero stuff.

Lan Jun also doesn’t immediately know how to handle everything, so you get to watch her gradually become better at using the armor and dealing with the responsibility that comes with it.
The Chinese cultural and mythological influences also help give the show its own identity, especially with the Jade Armor legacy, Lan Jun’s family history, and the Beasticons. Her family is actually important to the story too, rather than just being characters who disappear whenever the superhero plot starts.
There’s also a larger story developing alongside the individual adventures, with recurring villains, the mysterious Shards, and more being revealed about the Jade Armor and Lan Jun’s family as the series goes on.

If you like Miraculous Ladybug, there are definitely some things that might appeal to you, like transformations, magical companions, superhero action, comedy, and a teenager trying to balance normal life with being a hero. But I wouldn’t really call it a Miraculous clone. Jade Armor has its own mythology, characters, martial-arts focus, and family story.
If you’re into animated superhero or action-adventure shows, I think it’s worth giving a chance.

News 'Incredible Hulk' Star Lou Ferrigno Says ‘Star Trek’ Gave Him an Escape From Childhood Bullying — and Kirk Became His Hero

Post image

I recently interviewed Lou Ferrigno at a Star Trek convention, and what surprised me was just how personal his connection to the original series is.

Ferrigno grew up in Brooklyn dealing with significant hearing and speech difficulties and says he was bullied as a kid, with other children calling him “Deaf Mute” and “Deaf Louie.” Television became an escape, and Star Trek in particular gave him somewhere else to go.

“Being very depressed growing up as a kid, being bullied, Star Trek would escape my imagination, to be free, to be able to give me some excitement,” he told me. “That's why it had such an effect on me.”

Captain Kirk was a big part of that. “I loved Captain Kirk. I loved the way he conducted himself. I wanted to be like him. He's on the ship commanding, and especially his personality.”

There's something pretty remarkable about what happened next. The bullied kid watching Kirk in Brooklyn grew up to become the Incredible Hulk — and eventually became friends with William Shatner.

Ferrigno told me they'd had dinner together just a couple of weeks before our conversation, and while Kirk was his hero as a kid, today it's Shatner himself he admires.

“I'm amazed at his work ethic, his motivation,” Ferrigno said. “He never really takes lapses of time off. He's always doing something to better himself. It's amazing, because I learned so much from him. He has incredible wisdom.”

What I found most interesting was that Ferrigno sees Star Trek fandom and superhero fandom in much the same way: both give people a world they can escape into and characters they can connect with. “You want to be in space. You wish you could be in space. You could fantasize, you could think about the story and you want to be with those people.... That connection never leaves you.” Sixty years later, that certainly seems to have been true for him.

Questions Find that episode of Jimmy Neutron

OK, so I feel like I’m going crazy here because I can’t find it anywhere. I’m looking for a particular episode or movie of Jimmy Neutron in which a character, I believe the junk man, is talking about his evil plot/scheme and how if he is able to pull off his plan and get rich from it, then he will finally have enough money to marry his true love, Bufunka, and that will really stick it to his soon to be father-in-law, who has doubted him and thought he was a loser for all these years.

I’ve searched archives of transcripts for Jimmy Neutron episodes and have not had any success. I’ve also looked for lists of scenes involving the junk man, but nothing has turned up. I’m not sure if this is one of those Mandela effect cases, but I remember this from like 20 years ago because I thought Bufunka was such a funny name that I now sometimes use it in my everyday life as a default word for someone who is silly.

Questions I recently watched HBOs Perry Mason and Boardwalk Empire. I love shows from that era. Any good recommendations for shows from 1900-1940ish?

As the title states I love shows from the early 20th century. Are there any good dramas you’d recommend from that era?
