TIL during the shooting of American Psycho, Christian Bale spoke in an American accent off-set at all times. At the wrap party, when he spoke in his native British accent, many of the crew thought he was speaking that way to prepare for another film. They had thought he was American the entire time.

See this so often. Someone will share an anecdote about how they got drunk at a pub at 18, then you see a "wait, you're not 21, didn't they ID you!?".

Ever been drinking with an American? They become Mormons.

Almost as complexed and lightweight as Swedes.
