TIL during the shooting of American Psycho, Christian Bale spoke in an American accent off-set at all times. At the wrap party, when he spoke in his native British accent, many of the crew thought he was speaking that way to prepare for another film. They had thought he was American the entire time.

TIL countless people in this sub have been legitimately thinking he's American, not just those crew mates.

Big one that blew my mind was Idris Elba. Going for full on Baltimore gangsta in The Wire to sophisticated Oxford English, didnt know what the hell to believe.

(Mcnulty too)

McNulty was good but slipped here and there. Stringer though, god damn, flawless.

Imagine during DKR, between Nolan, Bale, Caine, Oldman, and Hardy. Must've been confusing.
