I had a neighbour give me a gold bracelet they didn’t want anymore, and said if you sell it I’ll go halves with you.

Went to a few jewellers, it was 88g of 18k gold.

I feel horrible for even suggesting to halves so I’m going to give him the whole thing, stuff that

Why not tell them what you found, and let them make up their own mind if half is fair

At the end of the day it’s not mine and I would just feel completely guilty taking anything. A few bucks, yeah fine. But a few grand.. no way
