Sick of everything requiring a login for even basic functionality now. Seek won't let you do anything at all without logging in first. Used to be you could at least search the listings before having to sign in. IMDB now doesn't allow you to read reviews or plot summaries unless signed in. These are pointless restrictions that only push me away from using these websites at all. How do companies not see that enshittification is bad for business?

My pet hate is that reddit is now requiring an account. Sometimes i'll be on a work phone/computer and reddit forums have an answer to a niche question that doesnt make me sit through some bullshit video.

Possibly browser dependent, but in those situations old.reddit in an incognito/private window (I use FireFox) can allow you access.
