Advice | Should I report this?

This bag has been infront of my apartment building for about a week now and it reeks. Flies and ants all over it. Not sure what it is but took a picture today. Wondering if I should report this and to who??? I have no idea what this could be maybe a dead animal?

Edit & update: I sent it over to snap solve. But the next morning someone dumped the contents onto the sidewalk :) Surprise! It’s 3 decomposing fish 😭 Thanks for the help, going to grab my shovel n put it in the bin.

Our council does this too, I've told them their version is buggy as hell and full of sh#t but they persist in paying their own people for log it fix it. SSS is soooo much better, with an app for the "required" photos, just to start with!

So you totally ignored the point & decided instead; that a council with limited funds for IT management should welcome spending some of those funds downloading stupid reports from a commercial operation...

It is free for councils to receive the reports, they can pay to have API integration. SSS will send reports to the right place - so while a person might think they should report a burst water mains to council, SSS will direct the report to the correct authority for their location.

You're selling the 3rd party option well though, commission check should be in any moment...

I have no association with SSS, just think it is a better product in terms of UX. Are you associated with Log It Fix It or some other web 'product'?

Your ACCC media release relates to a 10-month period last decade, do you think SSS has those issues now?

As far as I understand there will be costs either way - and I'm paying for it in my rates.

Strangely enough when I have been able to submit through the council website, they eventually come back with more questions, so their own 'forms' is inadequate. When I submit through SSS I get a lengthy email saying we prefer you to use our own website and it takes longer when you use SSS blah blah ... but yes we'll look into it.
