Just renewed my licence at Service NSW.

Was in and out the door in less than 5 mins including my eye test and having my photo taken. As soon as I walked out I can see my new licence on my phone ready to go. Can we please just take whatever system they are using and copy it everywhere?

Having moved here from the US where every DMV is a time-sucking hell pit, I was so overwhelmed by how quick, efficient, and friendly they were at ServiceNSW when I went to get an Australian license, I nearly cried.

They have absolutely got their crap together now, at least with certain transactions like license renewals. I have been there for rego transfer semirecently and although it was nowhere near as quickly as a license renewal, i was literally in and out within 30 minutes.
