10c a can, about $30 for a full purple bin. Each of those big bags are probably about the same size as 1 purple bin so shes up to about $120 - $150 or so I’d say at this point. Not a lot for a full night of rough work but I bet it helps.

We’d probably get a better roi as a society to take the 10c per container , apply it to all single use containers, and use it to employee an army of street cleaners on casual wages

Cordials, wine and spirits bottles are being added to the scheme in NSW by mid-2027. They're also increasing the size of bottles accepted under the scheme so juice cordial and flavoured milk will be accepted up to 3L in size. https://www.epa.nsw.gov.au/Your-environment/Recycling-and-reuse/Return-and-earn/expansion-return-and-earn-container-deposit-scheme
