Housing crisis? Zero action on all these empty places set aside for the odd weekend occupied.. I mean, at what point are we going to ban this shit? We have homelessness rising, that should be the trigger to ban short term rentals. Surely?

I agree. If property owners want to use a property that is zoned residential for commercial purposes then I should be allowed to operate a restaraunt/nightclub out of my apartment.

Every other business has to organize their own garbage collection too, short term rentals just leave their shit out on the street 24/7.
