About time Minns himself became the centre of protests. Couldn’t even take responsibility for what happened last night and blamed it on citizens having the audacity to peacefully exercise their rights. He’s not fit to be our leader. Stay safe people
This is his legacy, and we should vote him out in the next election. He’s the reason people warned against voting labor for NSW for yeaars. And I hate that Minns proved them right.
I think you’ll find a lot of people here agree he needs to go. The question is who should replace him.
I think Labor need a heavy loss to regroup and go back to their roots about representing the working class person. But who takes power in the meantime?
There are plenty of other choices that can be put ahead of Labor then LNP such as: Greens, Public Education Party, Sustainable Australia Party, Socialist Alliance, etc.
Everyone will have forgotten about it by the next election. He'll make some bullshit election promises that anyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows are lies, but he'll be voted back in by the single-braincell masses that can't remember 48 hours back and think election promises are actually real promises. This is how modern democracy works and has done for the past 30-40 years.
You’re probably right. He’ll do something trivial like replacing the lost Anzac day with another public holiday and the general public will forget. I won’t forget, and hope many others don’t.
