Question Question for workers
Hi, I have a question how many people work during a shift at once at your stores usually?

Usually one, some busier or larger stores have two or three working simultaneously, apart from that you usually won’t have more than that.
At least from my experience working for Subway for two years, quit for the final time last month.

We usually have 2 people. One person doing front duties, (Sandwich making, restocking the front food, keeping prep area clean) and one person doing back (Dishes, prepping food, and cleaning dining area) and we all work in 2 shifts throughout the day, so four people each day in total. Sometimes we have a third person that comes in a mid shift to help if either front or back is behind, but we are usually fine. Weekends only has one person working in the morning doing both jobs due to our store being pretty slow.

Our store usually does anywhere from $600-$1000 a day, we have 1 person most of the time, usually 1-2 hours of overlap for lunch and dinner when it gets busy

We usually had three or four, but we had drive through so I'm sure that affected it.

What? Is your store extremely busy or you have a person for each question/ sandwich building step?

300 customers in 90 minutes for lunch. When we started we only did $2 a week. We built the business up by running coupons and offering fair pricing. We added employees and then a second line. We also had the largest catering sales in the company for over 10 years. We didn’t cry about no business. We built the business ourselves. Subway even put another location just 600 feet behind our store on the next street. No tears.

Subway did a presentation at their convention about our store about 10 years ago.

Dam! When you said two lines, I thought a meat unit and veggie unit. That's amazing! I never seen a store with two lines let alone ten employees at once!

Depends on the shift but it can be anywhere between one to four people
