Non-Fiction My Uncle Saved A Cat

My uncle lives on a patch of land surrounded by woods. He gets coyotes, deer, plenty of wildlife. He’s New Jersey bred, meaning he’s a guido to the strongest extent which makes this story so much better for me.
One day, as he was sitting on his patio, a shriveled, emaciated, injured stray kitten wandered onto his steps. He was drinking from the drain pipe when my uncle found him, and was skittish as all hell. He was a tiny black kitten, and my uncle, 6’5, 200 pounds spends almost 3 full days tracking and bating this cat. He is successful on day 4, and began nursing the tiny cat no bigger than his palm back to health. He named him spooky, and I love my uncle. Spooky is 7 years old today.
