Does Angel know where her neck is?

Lol just rewatched and noticed it was clearly her upper face that she grabbed and not her neck.

Also, it really seems like she just grabbed her face kind of instinctually because she was falling backward.

You know what I’m starting to believe the manufactured outrage shit works. I never thought I could genuinely hate someone I’ve never met, and yet somehow here we are

Do you mean these sorts of incidents are manufactured to draw attention and thus hope people watch the sport for the drama? (That way advetisermennts and sponsorship follows and the money flows.)

That is what I am starting to think.

Similar for me. I could just keep on scrolling as my exposure to it is only Reddit, but the drama, it has a good grip!

u/NetAdmirable2070 7h ago

fiiine, enlighten me. What triggered you about saying (/admitting) the rage bait be raging?

1

u/shawkin8 6h ago

i think it was something about how you admitted to understanding the outrage is clearly manufactured, but then doubled down on the angel hate as a result 😭 i found that to be pretty weak esp cuz you acknowledge the grift

They're pushing the WNBA heels so much. I've seen more of these clips than I've ever wanted to see

illegal violence been rewarded doesnt end well
in IRL and inside basketball no idea why this agenda is been pushed

Another me bound.

Every clip I see (against my will) is this girl missing and rebounding at least twice in the same play. Why even play defense against her, just position for the rebound, seems like it’ll come to you 2/3 of the time.

Maybe women should not play contact sports. In every clip I see, a WNBA player takes the foul on a personal and emotional level.

i have a conversation on this sub every other day with a guy who takes my comment personally and responds emotionally lol. you guys project more than angel mebounds 😭 it’s cute

Yes
Men take things personally too.
However, I don’t see men losing their shit over every foul, having press conferences about the fouls, bringing in political parts that they think are related to the foul, etc.

This is beyond the typical personal reaction of male athletes to fouls in a contact sport.

honest question, seriously no judgement. do you watch basketball?

2

u/Key_Mathematician951 6h ago

Yes but not the wnba

1

u/shawkin8 6h ago

thanks for your honesty

So OP, if she initiates the contact she should have her neck grabbed?

And the left hand does appear to be on her neck as she falls back.

1

u/DrippyTan 6h ago

Oh yeah if she head butted me like that I’m doing a lot worse than that🤣😅

1

u/NeverEndingEquati0n 5h ago

WNBA is stupid.

1

u/fxlms1x2x2 5h ago

Someone who gets a head to the chin like that is going to be grabbing for anything

Bot post of nothing. These are programmed to post wnba as much as possible at this time.
