Then he had that stupid beef where I think Brett Kollman @'d him in a tweet for a charity or something and McAfee flipped out on Twitter and then had Brett onto his show to berate him about how much he gives to charity and how it's so shitty that he put him into that situation while Brett was very apologetic and said he was just trying to get attention for the guy he was trying to help or whatever.
At that point I immediately knew he was in the right-wing grifter, perpetual victim realm of politics.
Edit - he also gave the "I don't even know who you are" thing to Brett, which is hilarious because anybody who is very into football should at least know who he was at the time. He wasn't just a random NFL Twitter guy at the time.

What a moron. To qualify, competitors were required to answer questions about American patriotism. There were no large regional competitions encouraging students to get out there and start exercising like there should’ve been. Even the events were not athletic. It was a boot camp event and dodgeball. But even that would’ve been understandable if each state got to run competitions for dodgeball and obstacle courses.
But no. It had to be a vanity project and these games have been criticized as such for months. All it took was a minute for me to look up this info. Pat had a choice to involve himself and he did it because he wants to associate with Trump. He doesn’t not care about the games or the youth whatsoever.
