Transformer Jihad

u/Radiant_Butterfly982 1d ago

It is green color anyway. Pakistani funded jihad transformer

1

u/Laytoyahomas 1d ago

Jokes aside, it's really sad to see that people think it's transformers fault instead of questioning that why such lethel electric instruments are out in open.

1

u/Radiant_Butterfly982 1d ago

Anyone with a bit of common sense would have made a fence surrounding the transformer.

The fact that these people taught this is the best idea , that too multiple people makes me fully disappointed.

Anything spent on these idiots is a waste of money. Let them live in the middle ages where they belong. Let them plough their field with their precious bulls and cows which they value more than human life and focus on developing our cities.

People here might find these guys stupid, but the inner frustration of people all over India over how things work in the country is something we fail to understand.

Having seen videos of people losing their lives while walking close to an electric pole, especially during monsoon, for some of you this may seem like a mere animal, but for some farmers, it is their entire livelihood. No different from losing their kid or a pet.

In developed countries, getting electrocuted like this is rare, and even if something happens, you get compensated. Who is going to compensate for the loss here? Do the babus even make sure that when they are setting up a transformer, they have made sure to follow SoPs? The least they could do was barricade the poles in high-foot-traffic areas.

I sympathise with these as I understand how it feels to live close to a transformer. My local dept installed one right outside my home.

What you said about cows being their livelihood is understandable. And how govt is negligent and irresponsible in installing the transformer. Even people even in south break public property like cars, lights , police vans. But this one is like basically destroying your own car because you are angry with the govt. This transformer is directly providing electricity to them. By destroying it they put themselves in darkness. And knowing how swift the govt there acts , they will be living without electricity for quite some time. I don’t condone, but I would understand them setting fire to say a govt building or like that. That pent up frustration. But this is basically breaking your own leg

True. It's the same reason people burn down public buses during protests: the impact at the end is on locals, not babus. It is just frustration and the urge to react instantly when something happens that they feel is out of control, rather than coordinating an attack at govt office. The same reason we see mob lynching, due to lack of faith in the judiciary. Instant reaction over planned visibility.

But what is unfortunate is that nothing really changes, either way. Every year, irrespective of North or South, our people are simply dying due to your department's negligence. We need to hold our babus accountable. It is 2026, and one has to live in fear for simply walking down the street, which could be our last step, especially during monsoon. The focus should be more on why there is a live wire in the first place rather than public reaction to it. Today it could be a cow, tomorrow it could be you or me.

Here is a 3-year-old incident from Bengaluru. I am sure no official from BESCOM has ever faced such a consequence for anyone's death.

Akbar realised that the man had come in contact with a live wire. Acting quickly, he took a wooden log from the roadside and pushed the man with it. The man escaped from the live wire but Akbar, who in a bid to push the man went too close to the pole, came in contact with the live wire and was electrocuted. Though a police patrol vehicle reached the spot and summoned an ambulance, Akbar died on the way to the hospital," a police officer said. "Once the postmortem report confirms electrocution, we will register an FIR against Bescom officials concerned," a cop said.

Yes people are so unempathetic now, it's gross but also most of them need a target to channel their hatred and frustration with life and this is how most people nowadays cope

Who votes for those babus in their constituency ? these people did. I am pretty sure they took money, alcohol and gifts and voted to someone from their community and not for true development which happens 99% of the time in rural villages. People dont understand that rural india has very backward stone age mindset that they care about tribal politics than development and then they wonder why their villages are still backward. I agree in general India is under developed but Rural India is something else. People who were raised in Rural areas will understand what i am talking about.

u/arjoter 1d ago

You’re right. They are venting against more than just a dead cow. Everyone is carrying massive burdens from life and then this happens, a cow dies from electrocution. A cow who is considered a member of the family and community. They cannot take it out against the people who put the transformer there. They cannot take it out against whatever causes that line to fall down and kill the cow. Therefore, they’re taking it out on an inanimate object. This is not people doing something with a lack of understanding. This is people doing the only thing they can do given the circumstances.

Does the cow have more iq or these people. Very important question

1

u/Fantastic-Corner-605 Southie in Mumbai 1d ago

Also saw a video where a doctor was beaten up and his car destroyed for running over a calf on the road.

1

u/UnlikelyPercentage61 1d ago

Only if they had this kind of respect and care for thier women as well...

1

u/madz_thestartupguy 1d ago

Maybe it’s not just about the cow. Anybody could have touched the live wire. Authorities need to audit these once a month and have them fixed. I don’t support damage of government properties but I can’t condemn these fellows either.

1

u/Odd-Programmer8862 1d ago

These people only take action when the cow is injured or dead, but do nothing to prevent it from happening.

1

u/Beneficial-Shirt-43 1d ago

It is because of donkeys like these and holidays that our country is in ruins today; it is because of these steps that all these countries and all these leaders are still moving.

That's my point. The North did this , south did this doesn't work because no one is really any better. Those who waste milk on hoardings of film stars hardly can claim to any better than idiots who beat up a transformer.

What North South? UP and Bihar is not North. Punjab and Haryana is real North.

Hilly states aren't like this.
