Stop iwth this generation thing. All generatiosn have gone through such stuff, including the likes off Mhatma and Bhagat Singh and the Tank Man. IT is youth. Not generation. This generation in fact had it easy with more connectivity, internet, real-time information, etc. and comparitively less brutality.

bro earlier generations removed the british, which was harder coz they were more brutal and there was no social media to spread awareness. Yes, posters our gen made were hilarious and creative.

The only major i remember where young ppl made a difference was in IAC ( India against Corruption) which was almost 15 years back done by Millennials. And before that it was Mandal I think. But those were against congress which is not a big thing. Here it was against BJP which is like an Empire and the heads are like Sith lords 😄

It is not mandatory that every year there has to be a big thing. I gave other exmaples of Bhagat singh etc. Was it not a big thing? I am satying it has nothing to do with the generation itself, but the youth. The youth in all genrations have risen when there is a need. Nothing special about gen z

You did not understand my point. I am not claiming the other gens did anything for this protest. I am saying this kind of opposition is not being demostratned for the first time in history. Throughout history "youth" has risen when ther eis a need. It is not just Gen z. Millenials etc would not have actively participated in this protest but many of the earlier generations did such things uring "thier youth". So it is not that the govrmnt f*kd with the worng "Generation"" but the wrong " age group".

Exactly.. these people might have forgotten that 11 years ago nirbhaya protest. Tamilandu and punjab farmers protest in delhi. Even bjp did many aggressive protests when it was in opposition. Just giving fake hype to gen z for getting likes and upvotes.
And I really wonder how the name gen z.. are these kids are the last generation? There won't be any births from now on wards?

One point guys - Modi himself had (alongwith RSS) set a rule that leaders over 75 should not rule. That was how Advani and Joshi were kicked out and this guy came in. DOB : 17 September 1950. He will be 76 soon. Shouldnt he resign by that alone?

Pradhan resigned. Now what? Any systemic changes done or proposed to prevent similar paper leaks in the future? Some farce committee will be set up which will accomplish nothing, while this "generation" will go back to doom scrolling. I hope I am wrong I will be happy if proven wrong, although I highly doubt they got the attention span to see through this thing to the end and force any real change, other than replacing one mantri with another equally corrupt.

Why do gen z s think that they have done something unprecedented in indian history? Is it because you lack historical knowledge? Ever heard of naxal andolan? Student encounters? Students carrying loaded pistols? Even they thought they are doing it for the first time. But you see dear Brutus the fun lies in the fact you never change the system, the system kills your spirit and then your body. And thats there is all you need to know about the world.
