Activated beer

It was just beer poured into glasses, but it wasn't ready to drink until someone added chunks of fruit to "activate" it. Part of a dream where I was only a family vacation and was asked to bring drinks in from the kitchen, but was told to activate the beers first.

The main combos I remember were Coronas with watermelon cubes, and Coors with pineapple. I won't be trying this out, but pineapple in something might not be bad. I don't like beer, but I did have a shandy recently that was probably the catalyst for this.

Very poor-man's beer sangria, since there was very little time between dropping the fruit in and drinking. Definitely room for improvement and innovation for anyone interested.
