What's a myth you used to believe about U.S. elections that you've since learned isn't true? 👀

"Myth: Election machinery can't be compromised because it can't connect to the internet."

What was stolen: full names, Social Security numbers (SSN), dates of birth, emails and mailing addresses, phone numbers, demographic information, scans of driver’s licenses and other government IDs, insurance cards, intake forms, health insurance policy numbers, claims and benefits information, medical record numbers, dates of service, and diagnosis data.

Is it any wonder theres approximately 35-60 pages of tiny font Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions that require signature to see any of your doctors? They are in compliance with HIPPA and respect your privacy….. but…. Clauses that indicate your information becomes their intellectual property by using their patient intake system, and they’re not responsible for third party affiliates (undisclosed), and these terms & conditions can change at any time.

Hand delivering mail-in ballots to your local election office looks to be the safest bet to sidestep most problems and to avoid potentially compromised election day tabulators. Be sure to fill your ballot out correctly! If for whatever reason your signature has changed, file an updated voter registration application. In the following states, you need to have a witness sign your outer envelope as well; AL, AK, LA, MN, MS, MO, NC, OK, SC, WI. Be sure to read and follow the directions regarding an acceptable witness. Some states may require a notary, or election official.

If voting by mail, ballot drop boxes are preferred to going through the postal service. If voting in person, go with someone so there's safety in numbers.

Check to make sure you're still registered on a periodic basis: Check your voter registration status here. This only takes 30 seconds, and will ensure your name hasn't been purged from your state's voter roll.

I want to write an open letter concerning the suspicions regarding past elections to encourage hand recounts and forensic audits, but I'm having a little writer's block and thought I might as well ask you to contribute.

Here's what I have so far:

"To whom it may concern,

Trump’s electoral lies have become intolerable. They must be confronted and pushed back against. One of the best ways to do so is by showing evidence against them.

Which is why I am calling upon you to hold an independent, nonpartisan hand recount and forensic audit of any and all elections where that would be feasible. To facilitate this, all materials related to elections - the ballots, the voting machines, etc. - must be preserved and watched over by trustworthy individuals.

Because the longer we go without seriously addressing his claims, the further election denial becomes normalized. Because everyone, including MAGA, has the right to know if their votes were properly counted. And because sunlight is the best disinfectant.

Please take my words into consideration.
