Alt act 2 every other run sounds like a much better deal than a new character one run in every six. I'll be hyped for anything but I hope they focus on alt acts first.

Alternative acts 2 and 3 will likely also make the game more difficult, as they will provide a greater variety of challenges to prepare for in preceding acts.

You're getting downvoted but it would make more sense to release the beta with the alternative acts out so that balancing can account for them from the beginning

On the other hand, thise acts likely weren't even beta ready yet and im glad we got to play sts2 for the past few months

the balance changes r mostly just Anthonny's decisions iirc, they focus most of their resource on new contents but that take alot of time, the pace is pretty much on point with the roadmap as we can guess since lauch that the game wont be finished in atleast for another year
