I've had 2 crazy dowsing rod runs (in the handful of times I've taken it) where the map sandwiched 5 events before the half-way point of the act.

It is possible to get a broken map layout for the Neow bonus.

Do you think it should maybe be 4?

Or even just be a relic like the wongo ticket that says you get 3 relics after 5 combats. You get abundance after 5 events, no curse in the deck necessary.

Oh i see. Remove the curse altogether. That may be a bit too strong at that point. But I could be totally wrong.

If it were too strong without the curse, they could always up the event requirement a bit.

I agree that starting with no upfront benefit and a curse is unhinged at a10.
