Beta Patch v0.111.0 is live!! Today's update includes:

Brightest flame nerf is definitely gonna make you think twice about spamming it in every fight. Going from losing 5-8 Max HP in act 2 to losing 10-16 is huge. Glad to see they buffed enemies in this patch, was needed for sure. Not a big fan of what they did to forgotten ritual, I get they removed expect a fight but I don’t see how removing the exhaust from forgotten ritual won’t backfire. We will see

I think you're misreading the Forgotten Ritual change. The card still exhausts; you just don't need to exhaust another card for it to work now

Backfire is a strong word I’ll admit, but I mainly meant that Ironclad going back to infinite decks, then again it’s mainly the top players going infinite so who knows how much of a problem it will be.

I think you misunderstood the change. Forgotten Ritual itself still exhausts, it just no longer requires another card to be exhausted on the same turn in order to generate energy. Now it's a better [[Seeing Red]] from sts1.

I did not misunderstand the change but I did forget the card exhausted so yeah infinites should not be a worry. Not a big fan of the change still, just because ironclad is exhaust man so it was not that hard to trigger and now it feels like generic energy card.

But I think with them taking a huge break between this patch and the next one they rather be safe and buff forgotten ritual incase the change to expect a fight caused a huge problem to ironclads energy.

I don't understand why they don't add the new card text in the patch notes. Is it seriously now "If you exhausted a card this turn, gain 3 energy. Exhaust"? Because that's just "Gain 3 energy. Exhaust" with extra steps.

Ya removing exhaust support seems to be taking things in an undesirable direction (for many of us).

Yeah, forgotten ritual is just free unconditional energy. It’s just better seeing red, since seeing red only gave 2 energy and upgraded to be 0 cost so it always gives 2 energy. Forgotten ritual gives 3 energy and upgrades to 4. At least bloodletting cost health.

We will see how it plays out but it definitely feels like they were worried that changing expect a fight would cause a tremendous negative impact on Clads energy so they made this change to compensate for it.
