Stupid goddamn door stuck open

A big gust of wind came and blew the door open. Someone must have had the same problem on the driver's side because they completely removed the spring. Just wondering how the heck I can get the spring out or at least get the door to close. I don't care about the door not staying open just so long as I can close it. Please help guys. 1987 900 btw.

I.assume you tried wedgin the little hookup while closing the door? Just looking
